What can you say about the performance and quality of Nokia phones?

I have a Nokia 3390, which is probably obsolete now. I switched from my Sanyo Clearnet phone because Telus didn't always work where I live. I wanted a Rogers phone and the 3390 seemed like a good deal. And it is, except for the fact that I have to always engage the Key Lock to keep from accidentally dialing a number. I had 911 on speed dial and accidentally hit the number while the phone was in my purse. I felt truly stupid when they called back to see if everything was okay!

Does anyone else have this issue with Nokia phones? I have been looking at other phones, like Motorola, but am still not sure if I should change phones. I'd love to hear feedback from other Nokia users. Thanks.

Well for all non flip phones you need to engage the key lock button. Thats why the key lock button is there :) But I would suggest a flip phones, since you were looking at Motorola take a look at V551.

Nokia is by far the better phone :). I have 3 Nokia 3390 and I'm using only one of them when I go camping and stuff. I must have dropped that phone millions of times. And it works without a problem. Now try doing that with the newer phones out there. hahah

Why not look at Nokia 6620 (amazing phone). But you'll more then likely have to use the keypad lock again:)
