If I have a Nexus for use in Canada will I be able to change the sim card and use it in the states - say AT&T?
Nexus phones are never locked and will work with any carrier in any country. That is the one feature no other phone offers.
Hi Sandy, Samsung phones are usually region-locked to the countries where they are bought and sold, so if you bring a Galaxy Nexus from Canada to the US, you may need to root it first in order to gain the ability to use it with a local US carrier like AT&T. The process of rooting essentially unlocks features that aren't available to users in a phone's factory state. Hope this answers your question!
