Can someone help with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 email app problem?

My symptom is as follows: I have a Galaxy Tablet (GT-P5113 with update to Android 4.2.2). When I send an email using the email app that came with the Samsung (using my Yahoo email address), if I check my Yahoo "Sent" mailbox on a device other than my Galaxy Tablet, like my HP PC, I see the message text repeated twice (the text of my email is duplicated). I am at the point where I do not use the app to send emails. . . . Can you help me correct this? Thank you, Christine




Hi Christine, this seems to be a widespread problem that doesn't have a clear solution to it. I saw a lot of people talking about it online and so far the only that appears to have really fixed the problem is a timely OTA (over-the-air) software update. And for that, we'd have to wait for Samsung to issue a software release. So for now, the best you can do is probably just stay away from the default e-mail client, which is what you've been doing anyway. Alternatively, you can also try downloading and using the dedicated Yahoo app for your tablet instead. Hope this takes care of the issue!
