How to fix 'unfortunately, Swype has stopped' on the LG Optimus F3?

I keep getting unfortunately swype has stopped message popping up even when im playing a game, very annoying so I'd love to fix it. Any suggestions my phone is lg ls720

Uninstall Swype, go to Settings > Apps > look for Swype > Uninstall.
