How to get in safe mode on the ZTE Radiant?

I got an FBI Virus and no idea how to get in safe mode to get rid of it

To enter safe mode, simply press and hold your Power button as you normally would to turn your phone off. When you are prompted to either Power off, toggle Airplane mode, or adjust volumes, long press on “Power off” until you see the Safe Mode menu appear. Press “OK” and boot into Safe Mode. source
