Hello, you can download WhatsApp on your Alcatel One Touch 3040 easily. Just open the app drawer by pressing the button that looks like a grid on the lower right corner of the screen and look for the app called Google Play. It's the one that looks like a white shopping bag with right-pointing triangle on its center.

Launch Google Play by pressing its icon once, and then use the Search function by touching the magnifying glass icon on the top-right corner of the screen. Use the on-screen keyboard to type whatsapp and search for it, then simply install it by following the on-screen prompts presented through Google Play.
