Highlight the first photo you want to delete by tap and holding, once highlighted, simply tap other photos to delete to highlight. Once done highlighting the photos you want to delete, tap the 3 dot icon and choose delete (or maybe there's a trashbin icon on the top part of the screen, tap that to delete).
