How to perform a factory reset on the Kobo Arc 7HD?

I am returning a faulty Kobo Arc 7 hd to the retailer and I want to clear all my info from the unit. The touch screen does not respond to a "swipe" so I cannot access the "Setting" on the top right corner of the screen.

Try this:
Turn off the device. Turn it back on while holding the HOME button. This will trigger the factory reset. There is no YES/NO prompt - and please don't turn off the unit while it's doing this.
