Why won't ZTE Lever charge?
I plug in charger and its like there's a short ..but I bought a new charger so I think its the port

Hi joy. Since you tried a different charger, I suggest that you take it to a cellphone repair shop. Better contact them first to know if they have parts available and how much it would cost. Good luck!
