I posted the original query, I do not understand why I have to give an answer.

My wife has a Coolpad Snap, about 3 yrs old. She has a cousin with one a year older. Both don't hold a charge anymore. I thought they needed new batteries, so bought 2 new ones. They don't hold a charge either so it must be the phone? Are there issues with this model???
