Why can't I turn off silent mode on Doro 6030?
# key works but it won't cancel silent mode on my mum's doro 6030

Go to settings- general- block function and check the box next to Silent Mode to turn it on or off. Then go back to settings- sound- silent and click on silent. choose on or off
Hmm. Odd. Make sure the keypad is not locked when you press and hold # button. You can also go to Menu > Settings > Sound > Silent.
