The same company that brought the stylish Prada phone into existence for the fashion-minded masses now aims to make life easier for seniors or mobile phone amateurs with the LG A341. Sure, the old flip phone has been done a thousand times before, but the A341 has a few interesting features in store.
It offers Text to Speech, which turns the A431 into a robotic narrator of text messages, and Senior Mode, which enhances phone audio to make it easier for users to hear calls. There are two screens: a main, 2.4-inch QVGA colour screen inside and a secondary screen that can be used when the phone is closed.
The rest of the A431’s features remind us of the fact that it’s an entry-level handset: there’s a 1.3MP camera, MMS support, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, but not much else to speak of. Battery life is short at only 3 hours of talk time per charge.
