Hello I have a blackberry z10 it says sim isn't detected can anyone help me what is means

My phone broke&i just got it back and it said sim not provided then i took it to the shop&they gave me a new sim but 3hours later it is sayin sim not provided 2.what should i do ??even though they did say it will be active in 24hr

i have curve and i am useing my phone from last 8 months i never face any problem but today on 27th aug 2013 my phone shows the msg sim not provisioned 2 what is that plz guide me

My daughter is having the same issue but with a sim card that's been used for years on the same number...it just stopped working :(

That message means that the SIM card you have inserted to your BlackBerry has not yet been set up to your account or not yet activated. Contact your carrier and have your number activated.
If you get the same error message after activating your number, then there must be something wrong with your SIM card. Visit your carrier and have them personally check the problem.
