I have a consumer cellular cell phone put phone, flip phone that is. the mtk GPS and the GS p Ben. Dadmy phone is acting up right now so forgive the misspelling Etc.I'm talking about the GPS DSP. Ben alas Brian delete.sorry sorry the phone isn't printing correctly but you get my drift. these two items come on my phone when I talk to certain people also. I've been dealing with this a very long time and with research and experience I know it is not for anything good.computers are great for some things a lot of things in matter. however computers are extremely invasive and dangerous. I'm not a paranoid freak but deal with reality that we really don't want to know about.this is just for you your information to know that these two guys put together aren't forget his intentions. aren't for good intentions. good luck and God bless. there's not anything you can do about it.

I don't have an answer, but only wanted to say....I have a Consumer Cellular phone and it also has one in it. From research I've done, I've concluded that it has something to do with video. I think I will delete mine too.

well isn't this different! I am glad I came here. I have the same version phone, tracfone mind you (lol at the coincidence-TRACK) . The other day just one was on, now both. Have deleted them. I have an older tracfone that I attempted to 'pair'..... Maybe this is 1 reason? I cringe at the conspiracy theory but, if it quacks like a duck.... (BTW I have no clue about pairing, wanted to see if I COULD is all)

I've noticed it on mine for several months... I "delete" them... but then they are back on there , usually after having a phone conversation with a specific person , though not always.. such as today, I left my house for a bit....made nor received any calls or texts...and it was in my phone today... Yay

I found this on my Alcatel phone too, and I get my service through Trackphone. I recently got convicted for DUI and I'm wondering if the PD hacked my phone and put this on it so that they can track my movements.

I have a friend if the family who has the same issue... I'm beginning to think its the government and or a local law enforcement, or a nosy college student.... Its bogus and a definite invasion of privacy. But. It _ by "it" i mean all of your private information including text measages , contacts and pictures. ... is on the airwaves so.. Is that fair game? A loophole? Most wireless companies have no copyright and IS THAT IS NOT illegal...???

My brand new A392G from Tracfone came with these same files on it. Have no idea what they are for.

I'm sorry, but are you sure you are using Alcatel A392G? 'Cause I believe the phone doesn't have Maps. Anyway, I think it's a file that came with Google Maps.

Hi Carl- I thought so too but you validated it for me. I have access to Google Maps but I've never used anything that requires a GPS which is why I'm wondering if someone attempted to load spyware...?

That's odd. Those files are for GPS and Alcatel A392G doesn't have GPS feature.
