How to change text backgrounds on a ZTE smartphone?
I have tried going into message settings to change the background for my text messages so it's not always a white screen, but all it will allow me to change is the dialog boxes. How do you change the background?

It depends on which text messaging you are using. If you are using the default text message app, going to Messaging > open its settings > General > Chat wallpaper.
Let me know if that works.
