What do I need to do to transfer photo's from my phone to my laptop....

Have a kyocera kona. How do I transfer pictures with data cable and no internet access to a computer?

Try these alternative ways to transfer photos from your Kyocera phone:

Transferring without additional equipment
1. Add yourself as a contact on the Kyocera with only your email as the information. Find your picture on your phone. Do not click on the picture, but have it in the list and highlight it.
2. Click on "Options", which should be in the bottom right corner of the screen (some Kyocera models have it on the left). Select "Send via multimedia message" and choose your contact you created in the first step. This will just add your email to the list of where to send the picture.
3. Get on your computer and open the email you listed on your contact information. It may take a little while, but eventually your phone will send the email, which will have the photo attached.

Transferring without Internet access
1. Search for a data cable (there is a link to ebay.com in the "Resources" section of this article with the data cable in the search results, but they are available elsewhere). Once you've bought the cable you need, plug it into your phone but not the computer.
2. Navigate to "Settings" on your Kyocera and select "Mode setting" and then "Mass storage mode". Now plug the other end of the wire into your computer's USB port and it will treat it like a mass storage device, mounting it as a drive in "My Computer".
3. Go to "My Computer" and double-click on the phone when it appears as a "Removable disk".
4. Find your photo in a folder titled "Photos" or "Pictures" depending on your model.
5. Right-click the photo you want and select "Copy".
6. Navigate to the area on your computer in which you want to save the photo and click "Paste".
